Summer Bishil (born June 15, 1985) is an American actress best known for playing Margo on The Magicians, a Syfy fantasy-drama series that aired from 2015 to present. Her previous role as a Lebanese American teenager Jasira that goes through an array of struggles with the backdrop to the U.S. military conflict in Iraq was part of Alan Ball's film Towelhead. The film was later chosen as one of Variety's 10 Actors to Watch for 2007. She played another powerful character Taslima Jahangir in 2009's thriller Crossing Over for which she was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award in the Best Female Lead category. In addition, she acted in co-lead roles and movies like The Mooz-lum The Last Airbender Pop Star, Under the Silver Lake as well as in a variety of TV guest parts.
